Bhí lá galánta againn ar na mallaibh ag ceiliúradh 50 bliain ar an fhód le lucht bhunaithe na scoile, Ardmhéara Bhéal Feirste Kate Nicholl agus Ardchonsal Mheiriceá Paul Narian. Bhí na meáin anseo fosta don ócáid mhór! Chuir muid crann darach sa talamh chun an ócáid a cheiliúradh agus mar shiombal ar neart, meanma agus seasmhacht phobal na scoile.
We had a lovely day recently, celebrating our School 50th anniversary. We welcomed our School founders Séamas Mac Séain, Séan Mac Séain and his wife Máire as well as Caitlín Mistéil, Donnchadha, Liam and Máire Uí Bhruadair. We also had special guests in the form of Belfast Lord Mayor Kate Nicholl, US Consul General Paul Narian and the BBC were here to record and do interviews of the event for TV. Our student council members Séan, Cadhla, Eoin agus Síofra were fantastic hosts, making sure that everyones tea cup was full as well as entertaining our guests and enlightening them on all that goes on at Bunscoil Phobal Feirste.
